Super delicious in a historic setting right on the banks of the Rhine with a great view!

Good location but totally crowded, not my favorite.

In my opinion, a rip-off that borders on system catering. The ambience is very nice, but that's about it.

Good food and good wine directly on the Rhine. What more do you need at over 20 degrees at the end of October?

Delicious potato salad from the manufacturer Wernsing from the 5 kg plastic bucket. Operator understands poorly and miscommunication occurs. Unfortunately not like before. Too bad.

Perfect location during Corona. You can sit outside. Distances are observed. Wine and small dishes are good and reasonably priced 😀

Very nice place with a view of the Rhine, seagulls. Maritime smell ... only the service staff is, as usual, sloppy and curt. But I've known that for years. Unfortunately nothing has changed ...

Unfortunately it was a bit fresh, but there were some blankets available. We especially liked the gentleman at the bar in the outside area. He was very nice and accommodating from the beginning and that until the end. Employees like this make guests come back. So thanks to everyone for a wonderful afternoon 🙂

Just registered us at the entrance, the barriers are closed without comment and they leave. So unfriendly! Otherwise I can only say that the prices are high.

Always a great place right on the Rhine. Excellent meeting place for nice people with good cuisine and the best selection of rheingau wines. A trip is really worth it.

A nice place to sit directly on the Rhine when the weather is nice. The range of food and drinks is decent, the service at the table is friendly and friendly. The organization in the entrance area with people waiting for admission and those who want to get drinks or order food can definitely be optimized. But overall good impression.

Casual ambience right on the Rhine. Very friendly and attentive staff. Especially now in this difficult Corona time this is from my point of view the most important attribute, here others could learn a thing or two about it.

Used to be a lovely pit stop on our walks along the Rhine. Now over priced and disappointing service. The wasps didn't help I'm sure.

But only because of the location and the nice little house. Sheet cake. Yes, flat foods in general are the farewell to serious food supplies. A license to print money, for which a co-cook is usually sufficient. There, 511, I just expect more. The outside area isn't too charming either. I haven't heard any music above the Rhine either. This can be done better.

You have to take the drinks with you and carry them to the table, including the hot drinks, which we didn't know. Only when we asked, could we get our cold coffee. And there wasn't so much going on that the waitress wouldn't have managed to educate ignorant customers. The ordered snack platter was then brought. There was no ham on this, but a kind of feta cheese made from cow's milk. Most of the tables have benches without backs.

You can't beat the location of the restaurant. That alone is a huge plus for the feel-good factor. We liked everything we ordered and the portions were perfectly adequate for us, although they were a bit smaller than in many other restaurants. As a result, prices are still at the upper limit of "price-performance". The prices for soft drinks are, like in almost all other restaurants, too high. A 0.3 liter drink shouldn't cost a third of a main course. I think the measures to deal with the corona pandemic are well resolved. This ingenious system prevents traffic jams, you can keep your distance from other visitors and the service still works quickly. The staff was friendly and tried hard.

You need to do it all by your self...go order, take , bring....no service beacuse of corona they say....and price there is like Merkel bring you drinks and food....not proffesional at all...if you are open in this time...find way to your guests fealing good.

You sit very nicely with a view of the Rhine. The selection of (good) wines is manageable, the prices are generally reasonable - this also applies to the menu. In good weather you have to reserve early!

We wanted to get a few glasses of wine today. Unfortunately we couldn't be let in at 9:50 p.m. Apparently you no longer need it!

What happened to the investor? After several statements from the staff, no tables are currently reserved, although various tables are reserved, but you should not sit down. Apparently there are customers of different classes here recently. The table was also occupied several times during the Corona period.

The staff was not very friendly .... right now you should approach each other more and not work stubbornly according to the regulations. A little more tolerance please and a smile doesn't hurt either. 😊

Recommend place to have a meal and drink a beer while watching the ships crossing on the river.Good prices and very nice staff.

Lovely place to come and ship watch. Good food. Decent wine and other drinks. Friendly wait staff.its a good stop after a tour through Eltville.

Regional wines and small dishes. A visit is always worthwhile. Very nice location with a cozy atmosphere. Self-service, the staff is very friendly and after a walk a nice end to stay.

Nice place to sit outside, enjoy a Riesling and watch the river. Also nice inside but small.

Average food but its a good atmosphere and amazing view right on the river was enough to push it to 4 stars. The strawberry dessert with cream and (i think it was sorrell) ice cream was a highlight - yes a very basic dish but was far better than it sounds with great ingredients.

The location is perfect! Self service is a bit strange. Food is very good.

Absolutely FIRST CHOICE on a Sunny Day. Sit directly on the Rhine very good kitchen nicely presented. Bilingual staff reasonable prices. FYI you order and pay at the entrance. Great food and drinks... Fabulous atmosphere

Beautiful view, great food and greater wines! The only thing is that I found weird that you have to go to the cashier and then they bring you your order, but it's nice, I loved the place!

Very nice cafe just in front of the river. You can have good Bratwurst with Frenchfries. And a good glass of wine.
